Dear Friends, Family and Supporters,

Warm greetings to you all from Switzerland & Germany!

It is always a joy for me to share with you some of what God is doing in my life, ministry and the Body of Christ in our region.

I would like to start sharing with you my vision for life.

When I was 11 years old, God showed me a vision where I saw people from many nations worshipping Jesus and behind me there was an orchestra that I was leading.

Since then, and from the beginning of YWAM Basel, my vision has been to see and to lead people from many nations to worship Jesus!

My ministry focuses are: networking and building bridges with the Body of Christ, opening doors for young people to lead programs and trainings, coordinating and mobilizing missionary teams into Switzerland & Germany, finding opportunities for YWAM Basel to serve the local Church in Basel and at the border of Germany and leading worship among the Body of Christ.

Thank you my dear friends for walking this journey with me.

I could not accomplish God's calling for my life without your friendship, help and support.

May God also provide the people, support and resources that you need for the fulfillment of your calling!

Coordinating outreach Teams

From November 2023 to January 2024,

I was coordinating the activities of the outreach team of the Mission School of YWAM Cartagena in some local ministries, evangelism on the streets, visiting churches and supporting the prayer week organized by the Evangelical Alliance at the House of Prayer in Basel. Then, from January 11th to 15th, an outreach team from YWAM Mexico, joined our programs and activities.

Focus on Worship

At the beginning of the year I felt God spoke to me to recommit my calling for worship but also to strengthen our calling for worship as a ministry in YWAM Basel because our vision is "Nations United worshipping God".

That is the reason why, we started to meet one time per month with our friends from different local churches to worship, encounter God, open our hearts to Him and give Him the space to speak to our hearts. If you live near our region you are more than welcome to join us!

On March 1st, I got invited to be part of the worship night organized by Living Hope Church in Friedlingen, and it was really such a great experience to worship God together with them. God's presence was so real and we all had a personal encounter with Him.

They are a loving church focused on reaching out to Turkish and International people at the border of Germany.

Connecting with our Central Western Europe Region

From February 5th to 8th, YWAM leaders from the Central Western Europe region, gathered in Trentino, Italy in order to encourage one another, be challenged through the testimonies of new pioneering ministries and learn more about how to reach out to the Gen Z generation with the Gospel.

Building new bridges in Europe

From February 20th to 22nd, European Leaders from around the world gathered at the Europe Shall Be Saved conference in Eimeldingen. We shared plans, ideas and strategies in how to reach out in Europe together. We were also encouraged through times of prayer, prophecy and celebrating Communion together.

Convening in our Swiss-German Region in YWAM

Since the last 4 years, I have had the privilege to be part of the Covening Team for our Swiss-German Region in YWAM.

It has been a great joy to be part of this team!

Our purpose as Convening team is to serve our region through communicating with them the different opportunities they have in Europe to connect and to serve with one another, providing a platform for new initiatives in our area, being sure that we are being faithful in following our values and beliefs as Mission and to organize regular meetings in the year where we can worship, pray, encounter God together, and through the Spirit of God be challenged, motivated and encouraged in our calling.

Discipleship Training School

Since March 2023, I was working together with Brandon & Karem from YWAM Cartagena, and under the supervision of Markus & Diana, in order to have our 3rd Discipleship Training School in Basel but sadly most of the people interested in coming as students had different obstacles and challenges. For that reason, we have decided to postpone it for the next semester or for the next year. Please, pray with us that God will open the doors and provide the finances needed for those whom He wants to bring to Basel to be transformed by Him and to be a blessing for the region and the nations.

Looking for a new House

As many of you already know, we are looking for a new House for our ministry because our last contract will finish by May 31st this year.

We are thankful to God for the new possibilities He has provided and we keep looking and praying for the best option.

If you maybe know of a good location, please, let us know.

Praying for New Financial Supporters

I feel blessed and privileged to be able to do ministry in two countries. And now, with a missionary work visa I have a more stable status as a foreigner but I also have more financial responsibilities to cover.

As a voluntary missionary I depend on God's provision to do ministry locally and internationally and to cover my personal needs. I am so thankful with the generosity of my friends who have been used by God to allow me to do the work and to fulfill my vision.

Sadly, I still need to raise 500 CHF, which represents 15% of my monthly budget.

If you would like to be part of my support team through a single donation or a monthly donation this is my personal account that you could use:

"Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen"

Heb. 13:20-21

Be blessed,

Luz Leidy
